9. Use of Google and YouTube Data
Edio uses Google OAuth 2.0 authentication to allow users to securely connect their YouTube accounts. When a user authorizes access, Edio may access and use the YouTube Data API to upload videos and retrieve basic channel information solely for the purpose of providing the requested functionality within the Service.
Edio does not access, modify, or delete YouTube data without explicit user authorization.
Access tokens and refresh tokens are stored securely and used only to perform actions requested by the user. These tokens are not shared with unauthorized third parties.
Users may revoke Edio’s access to their YouTube account at any time by:
- Visiting their Google Account permissions page at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
- Disconnecting their YouTube account from within the Edio application
Users may request deletion of stored Google OAuth tokens and associated YouTube-related data at any time by contacting us at info@edio.tech or by disconnecting their YouTube account within the Service.
